District polygons are delineated based on Alaska Fish and Game Laws and Regulations as described in 5 AAC 21.200. Districts are the largest unit within the overall registration areas followed by subdistricts, sections. and statistical areas. Subdistricts and sections are not applicable to all salmon registration areas. Salmon districts are divided by points/lines defined in ADF&G regulations.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>All regulatory lines were originally referenced to the WGS84 datum in this feature class.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This data set should NOT be used for navigation or for determining compliance with ADF&G Commercial Fishing Regulations.
