Service Description: Over the past several years, the department has undergone an extensive effort to correct and provide for accurate descriptions of commercial salmon fishing districts, sections and closed waters. Please consult the ADF&G Salmon Commercial Fisheries Regulations for the official definitions of regulatory boundaries. Data last updated June 2023 NOTE: These data attempt to depict boundaries as used for management during a specific time period. In some cases, boundaries used in practice may differ from those described in regulations, reports, maps, and other aids.
