Sampling occurs after permits have been issued and are submitted to ADF&amp;G after they expire as an Excel spreadsheet. This resource represents each individual sample that was collected under each permit as an individual point. There can be many points representing samples per permit, and occasionally in the same location. This GIS version of the data is primarily used via the <a href='https://adfg.maps.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/b9d65c5612de4b9e917f3dd7c9238d22' rel='nofollow ugc' target='_blank'>Sport Fish Aquatic Resource Permit Dashboard<\/a>.<br /><\/span><\/div><div><br /><\/div><div>An Aquatic Resource Permit (ARP) is required for any activity to collect fish, amphibian, shellfish, or marine aquatic \nplants that is not covered by current sport, personal use, aquatic farm, and commercial regulations. Additionally, an ARP \nis needed if one wishes to transport, import, export, or propagate fish. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&amp;G) \nonly issues ARPs to organizations and individuals engaged in legitimate scientific or educational, propagative, or exhibition \nactivities, and who meet other requirements stated in the department's regulation.<\/div><div><br /><\/div><div>Please contact Kercia Schroeder (ARP Permit Review Board) at kercia.schroeder@alaska.gov with questions about this data.<\/div><div><br /><\/div><div><br /><\/div>",
